Statement: 2018 investigation discontinued

From 2018, the Stuttgart Public Prosecutor's Office ⟦authority as stated in the decision⟧ conducted an investigation against me that also concerned the FLEX Fonds Group. The media reported on it at the time.

The Public Prosecutor's Office discontinued the proceedings on ⟦DD Month YYYY⟧ pursuant to Section 170(2) of the German Code of Criminal Procedure (StPO) ⟦legal basis as stated in the decision⟧. Under this provision, proceedings are discontinued when the investigation does not provide sufficient grounds for bringing charges.

I supported the investigation from the outset.

Earlier reports reflect the state of the investigation at that time, not today. I ask editorial offices and platforms that reported on the proceedings to update their articles with the outcome.
